HelpLayer vs Zendesk
Zendesk is a customer service platform for ticketing across email, chat and phone, with a help center and AI agents, priced per agent. HelpLayer is the help center that keeps itself up to date: when your product changes, it writes the update to the article and its video, for you to approve.

QUESTIONS
HelpLayer vs Zendesk: questions
Can HelpLayer replace Zendesk?
It replaces Zendesk's help center and the AI answers on it. It doesn't replace ticketing: questions HelpLayer can't answer go to your support email, which can be your Zendesk support address.
How does HelpLayer know an article is out of date?
You connect an article to its sources: a GitHub repository or a web page, like your pricing page or changelog. When they change, HelpLayer works out which articles the change touches, writes the update to the text and the video, and waits for your approval.
What does an AI answer cost?
Zendesk Suite Team includes 5 automated resolutions per agent a month; more cost $1.50 to $2.00 each. In HelpLayer, AI answers are included in the plan.
How do I move my Zendesk articles?
Export them with Zendesk's Help Center API into a CSV file, and import it into HelpLayer (Articles → Import CSV). Then connect your sources so they stay up to date.
