Rename a trip or add a description

Ricordo names each trip for you. You can change the name and add your own description at any time.

1. Open the trip.

2. Tap Edit details, in the row of buttons or under … at the top right.

3. Type a new name under Title.

4. Write about the trip under Description: who you went with, what you'll remember.

5. Tap Save.

To go back to Ricordo's own name, clear the Title and save. You can also rename a trip in Fix trip…, under Name.

Use a title Ricordo wrote

With Apple Intelligence turned on, Ricordo writes a short story and a title idea for each trip, on your iPhone.

• Tap Use it next to Title idea to take the title.

• Tap Make it yours to start your description from the story.

• Tap Rewrite for another take.

Add a note to one day

1. On the trip, find the day.

2. Tap the pencil next to the day's title.

3. Write what happened that day, then tap Save.

To remove a note, open it again and tap Delete note.

Tip: Your description and notes stay on your iPhone and in your iCloud backup, and they go into your trip book. They stay with the trip even if you change its dates or split it.
