Fix a wrong place name on a trip
Pick a better name when a city or place on your trip is labelled wrong.
Ricordo names your places on your iPhone, and Apple Maps can add landmarks and local names. If a name isn't right, choose another.
Open the trip.
Tap … at the top right, then Fix trip….
Scroll to Place names. Each place shows what it's labelled now, and other names it could be.
Tap the name you want. Or tap Other…, type a name and tap Use.
Tap Save.
To keep the name Ricordo gave it, tap Keep followed by that name.
The new name is used for those places across Ricordo, and kept when it scans your library again.
Tip: Place names only appears when Ricordo has other names to suggest. Many of them come from Apple Maps, through Place names from Apple Maps in Settings → Internet extras.
