Merge or split a trip

Sometimes one journey shows up as two trips, or two journeys run together. You can fix either from the trip.

Merge with the next trip

1. Open the earlier of the two trips.

2. Tap Merge with next trip.

3. Tap Merge trips to confirm.

They become one trip. When the trip just before or after starts within three days, Fix trip suggests merging too: tap Merge into this trip and then Save, or Keep separate.

Split a trip

1. Open the trip.

2. Tap Split here, or tap … and then Fix trip….

3. Under Days · tap a gap to split, tap the split line between the two days where the new trip should begin. It changes to Split here · tap to undo.

4. Tap Save.

You can split at more than one gap at once. Where days without photos sit between two days, the line says how many.

Tip: Merged by mistake? Split the trip again from Fix trip. Every merge and split is kept, even when Ricordo scans your library again.
