Add Ricordo widgets to your Home Screen or Lock Screen
Keep your countries and a photo from this day in an earlier year on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
Ricordo's widgets are drawn in your Ricordo style:
Your world: the countries you've been to, on a dot map. The medium size adds your cities, trips and latest trip.
On this day: a photo from this day in an earlier year, with where it was taken. Small, medium and large, plus extra large on iPad.
Postcards: the latest postcards from your people. See Add the Postcards widget to your Home Screen.
On the Lock Screen they show words instead of pictures: your countries, cities and trips, or the place and how long ago.
Add one to your Home Screen
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
Tap Edit, then Add Widget. On iOS 17, tap + at the top left.
Search for Ricordo and tap it.
Swipe to the widget and size you want, then tap Add Widget.
Tap Done.
Add one to your Lock Screen
Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, then choose the Lock Screen.
Tap the widget area under the time.
Tap Ricordo, then the widget you want.
Tap Done.
Keep them up to date
The widgets get their news from Ricordo, so open the app now and then, especially after a trip. On this day is planned up to two weeks ahead.
If On this day says Nothing from this day yet, there's no photo from around this date in an earlier year, or Ricordo hasn't finished reading your library. It needs full photo access to show the photo. Photos are read from your library and never copied.
