Invite someone to share postcards
Pair with one person, or start a group for your family with one link for everyone.
Postcards go between people who have paired or share a group. Invite one person, such as your partner or a friend, or start a group so everyone in your family gets each postcard.
Invite one person
Open Postcards.
Under Your people, tap Invite.
Tap Invite one person.
Tap Send the link, then choose how to send it, such as Messages.
The link works once, for a week. When they open it, you're paired, and postcards go both ways.
Start a group
Under Your people, tap Invite.
Tap Start a group.
Type a name for the group, such as Family.
Tap Create and get the link.
Tap Send the link, and send it in a group chat or to each person.
Anyone with the link can join for a week, up to 20 people. A postcard sent to the group reaches everyone in it.
Invite more people to a group
Under Your people, tap the group.
Tap Invite to and the group's name, such as Invite to Family.
Tap Send the link to Family, and send it.
Anyone in the group can invite more people.
How they join
They need Ricordo on their iPhone or iPad.
They open your link, and Ricordo shows your invite.
If asked, they tap Sign in with Apple.
They tap Pair with and your name, or Join and the group's name.
They tap Done.
Tip: A link that's been used or is more than a week old stops working. Make a new one with Invite.
Tip: If you made a group, you can rename it: open it, tap ⋯ at the top right, then Rename.
