Play in sets
Score Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton, Ping pong and Pickleball set by set.
Games played in sets count the points in each set and the sets each player wins. Tallynight starts the next set for you.
Before you start
When you pick one of these games, two rows appear on the setup page:
Points per set: tap − or + for shorter or longer sets.
Sets: One, Best of 3 or Best of 5.
During the game
Tap + on a player's tile for each point they win (in Tennis, each game).
Each tile shows the points in this set, and Sets with the number of sets they've won.
A set is won at the set's points with a two-point lead (some games stop at a cap, such as 30 in Badminton). The score shows on screen, such as "Set 1 · Maria 25–21", and the next set begins.
The Set 1 button in the bar shows the set being played. Tap it to see the score of every finished set.
End a set early
Tap the set button in the bar, such as Set 2.
Tap End this set.
The set goes to whoever leads, or to nobody on a tie. Tap Undo straight after to open it again.
When someone wins the match, Tallynight offers to end the game.
Tip: To change the set length or the number of sets during the game, tap ⋯, then Change the game.
