Find the people in your photos
Turn on People so Ricordo finds the faces in your photos and groups them by person.
Ricordo can find the faces in your photos and group them by person, so you can see every trip you've taken with someone. People is off until you turn it on.
Turn on People
On the Atlas, tap the gear at the top to open Settings.
Under Your library, tap People.
Tap Turn on People.
You can also get there from the People widget on your Atlas, from People in the Search tab, or from People in the sidebar on iPad.
While faces are found
A Finding faces card shows how far Ricordo has got. It starts with photos from your trips, and people appear and settle as it goes. A big library takes a few minutes, and it's quickest while your iPhone is charging.
Someone shows up once they're in at least three photos. Groups waiting for a name are under Who's this?, and the people you've named are under Named.
Tip: Ricordo looks at the photos already on your iPhone. To include photos that are only in iCloud, turn on Photos stored in iCloud in Settings → Internet extras.
Turn People off
On the People page, tap … at the top right.
Tap Turn off People.
Tap Turn off and delete face data.
Every face, group and name Ricordo found is deleted from your iPhone. Your photos aren't touched.
Faces and names are found on your iPhone and never leave it. They're never shared, not in links and not in postcards.
