Delete similar shots, copies and blurry photos
Go through everything Clean up found in one go, choose what to delete, and get a photo back if you change your mind.
Clean up finds shots of the same moment, the same picture saved twice and photos that came out blurry, all on your iPhone. The best shot is always kept. Under the daily tidy-up, All at once lets you go through everything in one go.
Choose what to delete
Open Settings and tap Clean up.
Scroll down to All at once.
Pick Similar, Copies or Blurry. Each shows how many it found.
In Similar and Copies, the best photo of each group is marked Keep and the others start picked for deleting. Tap a photo to unpick it, or tap Keep all to keep the whole group.
In Blurry, tap the photos you want to delete, or tap Pick all.
Tap the red Delete button at the bottom and confirm when iOS asks.
Touch and hold a photo and tap View to see it big. On a blurry photo, Keep it keeps it for good. Photos you keep aren't suggested again.
While Ricordo is still checking, a Checking photos card shows how far it's got, and more turn up as it goes. Only photos already on your iPhone are checked, unless you turn on Photos stored in iCloud in Settings → Internet extras.
Get a deleted photo back
Deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days.
Open the Photos app.
Open Recently Deleted, under Utilities.
Select the photo and tap Recover.
Tip: If the Delete button shows a sparkle, deleting in one go comes with Ricordo Plus. You can still delete a few each day with Today's tidy-up.
