Who holds the belt?
How the belt is won, kept and lost, and where to see who has it.
The belt is your family's title. Whoever wins the latest game outright holds it until someone else wins one.
See who has it
On the home screen, the card with the crown says who holds it, like Maria holds the belt, with Won the last game or 3 wins in a row. It shows once you've finished a game.
The same card is at the top of the Hall of Fame.
On a player's page, the holder has a crown and Holds the belt.
Everyone sees who holds the belt, with or without Tallynight Pro.
The rules
The belt goes to whoever won the latest finished game with two or more players, as long as they won it alone. They take it even if the holder wasn't playing.
If that game ended in a tie, nobody holds it. The card says The belt is up for grabs, and the next outright winner takes it.
Games with one player don't count.
The streak counts the holder's own games in a row that they won alone. Games they didn't play in don't break it.
When the belt moves
Right after a game ends, the result shows what happened:
Maria takes the belt from Leo, with the crown moving from one to the other.
Title defended · 3 in a row, when the holder wins again.
Maria takes the belt, when nobody held it before.
A short chime plays with it, and stays quiet when your iPhone is on silent. To turn the chime off, open Settings from the gear on the home screen and turn off Sounds. The same line goes on that game's winner card.
Tip: The belt widget can show who holds it on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. See the widget guide.
