What stays on your iPhone and what goes online
See which of your information stays on your iPhone and the few times Metwith uses the internet.
Metwith has no account and no sign-in. The cards you scan, their photos, your notes, tags, follow-ups and events are kept in Metwith on your iPhone.
On your iPhone
Reading cards. Every card is read on your iPhone. Card photos aren't uploaded anywhere.
Photos and notes stay in the app.
Contacts. Metwith adds a person to Contacts only when you tap Save. With your permission, it also looks in Contacts to tell you when someone is already there.
The camera is used only while you scan.
Metwith doesn't sync your cards between devices, so the cards on your iPhone aren't on your iPad.
When something goes online
Your own card, if you put it online. On Your card, Put my card online sends what's on that card (your details, photo, logo and a picture of the card) to metwith.app, so anyone with the link can see it. Only your own card goes online, never the cards you scan. Take it offline deletes it from metwith.app. This comes with Pro.
A logo from a website. When you use Get the logo from a website for your own card, your iPhone visits the website you typed and downloads the logos and icons it publishes. Nothing is sent to Metwith.
Links you tap. Find on LinkedIn opens a LinkedIn search with the person's name and company. Calls, emails, websites and addresses open in the app they belong to.
Purchases are handled by Apple.
Tip: Settings sums this up under Your cards stay yours.
