Allow camera and Contacts access
Find out why Metwith asks for the camera and Contacts, and how to turn access on if you said no.
Metwith asks for two permissions, each the first time it needs one.
What each one is for
Camera: to scan cards. It's asked the first time you tap Scan cards. Cards are read on your iPhone.
Contacts: to save people when you tap Save, and to check whether they're already in your Contacts. It's asked the first time you save a card.
If you said no
Without the camera, Metwith can't scan cards.
Without Contacts, your cards stay in Metwith, and saving shows: "Metwith needs access to Contacts to save. You can allow it in Settings › Metwith."
Turn access on
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap Apps, then Metwith. On iOS 17, scroll down and tap Metwith.
Turn on Camera.
Tap Contacts and choose Full Access. On iOS 17, turn on Contacts.
Go back to Metwith and try again.
Tip: With Limited Access, Metwith can still save new people, but it only notices someone already in Contacts if they're among the contacts you shared.
