Check that a round adds up
See whether a round in Hearts, Briscola or a game where wins and losses balance adds up before you save it.
In some games every round should come to the same total. When you add a round, Tallynight checks it for you, on a line under the players' points.
Tap Add round 1, or whichever round is next.
Type each player's points.
Read the line under the players before you save.
The same line shows when you tap a round in the table to fix it.
Hearts
Every hand adds up to 26. The line says "26 points. It adds up." with a tick, or how far you've got, like "18 of 26 points so far."
When someone takes all 26:
Tap Shot the moon.
Choose who did it.
They get 0 and everyone else gets 26.
Briscola
Every hand adds up to 120, so the line counts towards 120 in the same way.
Games where wins and losses balance
In Tarot, Doppelkopf, Schafkopf and Tongits, what the winners get the others lose, so every round comes to 0. The line says "Wins and losses balance." or how far off the round is, like "20 off: wins and losses should balance to 0." Use ± on the keypad for the points someone loses.
Every other game
The line shows the round's total, like "Round total: 42".
Tip: The check never stops you saving, so a house rule that changes the total still works.
